Only after an amateur recording of a grand piano that I really appreciate the convenience of my digital piano. The many options on Synthogy Ivory allows me complete control on how I want the piano to sound. With regular recording, I couldn’t control the room size, reverb amount, timber amount, how heavy or light the key response is, it’s just not possible. Plus, I have to deal with the current tuning of the piano itself. I still need more sessions on the grand piano to really be decent in microphone placement and dynamic control to really do regular performances with (for example, with the grand piano, it was very hard for me to play “ppp” dynamics whereas on the digital it was effortless). I hope you enjoy this digital piano version as well, I felt more confident playing this one. :D
